This page provides a list of the FHIR artifacts defined as part of this implementation guide.
These are custom operations that can be supported by and/or invoked by systems conforming to this implementation guide.
| Generate Medical Record Number |
To generate a new unique Medical Record Number. Can be used for unknown/anonymous patient's identification. |
| Patient Disability |
Patient's level of disability from the Social Insurance Board (SKA). |
| Patient Education |
Patient's highest obtained level of education from the Public Registry. |
| Patient Foreign |
The foreign patient search operation to perform search over non-estonian patient resources. |
| Patient Legal Guardians |
The list of patient's legal guardians specified by the Population Register. |
| Patient Link |
The link operation is used to link two patient resources. One of the two patients is identified as the source and one as the target. The link with type 'replaces' is created in target patient resource and points to source patient; another link with type 'replaced-by' is created in source patient resource and points to target patient. |
| Patient Lookup |
The lookup operation used to search for patient data in the external registers. |
| Patient Unlink |
The unlink operation is used to unlink two previously linked patient resources. One of the two patients is identified as the source and one as the target. The links between the source and target patients will be removed. |
| Patient incapacity for work |
Patient's incapacity for work status from the Social Insurance Board (SKA). |
| Patient legal relationships |
Patient's legal relationships from the Public Registry. Returns also custody types, where applicable. |
| Patient legal status |
Patient's current legal status from the Population Register (RR). |
| Patient occupation |
Patient's occupation(s) from the Employment Register (TÖR). |
| Patient power of attorneys |
The list of patient's power of attorneys from the Population Register. Data returned only for a minor. When an adult is given in patient parameter, then only patient's children and dependents under the age of 18 are returned. |
These define the properties by which a RESTful server can be searched. They can also be used for sorting and including related resources.

These are profiles on resources or data types that describe patterns used by other profiles, but cannot be instantiated directly. I.e. instances can conform to profiles based on these abstract profiles but do not declare conformance to the abstract profiles themselves.
